How each MLB game is projected to stand after five innings: the chance each side is ahead, the chance it is level, the runs AccuScore projects through five and the single most likely five-inning score. F5 is a bet on the starters and the lineups facing them, with the bullpens taken out — so it moves independently of the full-game line. Projections last refreshed 2026-10-02.

A first five innings (F5) bet settles on the score after five complete innings rather than at the end of the game. It is a bet on the starting pitchers and the top of each lineup, with the bullpen taken out of it — which is why it can behave very differently from the full-game line.
Yes. Unlike a full game, five innings can finish level, so the F5 moneyline is a three-way market: home, away or tie. Some books also offer a two-way version where a tie is a push. The table shows the three-way probabilities and the tie chance separately.
The same simulation that prices the full game is read at the end of the fifth inning, so the F5 projection comes from the starting pitchers and the lineups actually expected to face them. Projections update as starters are confirmed.
Because the part of the game you can model best is the part before the bullpens arrive. A team with a strong starter and a weak relief corps is often a better bet over five innings than over nine.
