Gold Pick of the Day: Jets @ Titans — Hammer the Over

AccuScore's 10,000-simulation model sees this Week 2 tilt in Nashville sailing well past the number, pricing the Over 38.5 at 68.0% to hit — a monster gap over the market that turns into a +15.5% EV play at -108 (BetMGM). When the model's edge on a total is this wide, it's the kind of number that separates a Tuesday afternoon whim from a Gold Pick.

The AccuScore Projection

AccuScore has Tennessee winning this one outright 66.5% of the time to New York's 33.4%, with a projected final of Titans 26.0, Jets 20.0 — a combined 46 points that lands comfortably above the 38.5 market total. On its own internal 45-point line, the model still likes the Over at 49.3%, but it's the market's lower 38.5 number where the real value lives, and that's where the 68.0% probability shows up.

On the spread, the model has Tennessee as a 5-point home favorite with just a 49.5% cover probability — basically a coin flip against the number, which tells you this isn't a game the model expects to be decided by a blowout or a defensive stalemate. It expects points from both sides, a track meet that clears the total with room to spare even if the score stays somewhat competitive.

Every Market, Every Edge

Market	Pick	Odds (Book)	EV
Total	Over 38.5	-108 (BetMGM)	+15.5%
Moneyline	TEN ML	-106 (Kalshi)	+14.6%
Moneyline	NYJ ML	+111 (Kalshi)	-14.8%

The total is the headline, but the Titans moneyline at -106 on Kalshi is nearly as strong an edge — the model's 66.5% win probability comfortably clears the implied price. Fade the Jets moneyline outright; AccuScore's 33.4% win number doesn't come close to justifying +111.

Sharp Money & Public Splits

The DraftKings splits tell two very different stories. On the moneyline, 65% of bets are on Tennessee but only 41% of the handle follows — meanwhile the Jets are getting just 35% of bets but 59% of the money, a clear sharp signal on New York against the spread of public sentiment. That's worth filing away even though it doesn't change AccuScore's own win-probability lean toward Tennessee.

On the total, the picture cuts against our Gold Pick: Under 38.5 is drawing 57% of bets but a whopping 89% of the handle, meaning sharp money is stacked on the Under while the model projects the Over. That's a real conflict signal — the professional betting market and AccuSc
